This Sunday our minister returns from her Summer Holiday to lead worship with us once again.

Communion

This Sunday 3 September we celebrate Communion at 11am led by Rev Bill Jackson.

Young Church returns after a summer break, we meet in the hall at 10.50 when we will be looking at the story of Joseph.  Come and join us for games, stories, crafts and refreshments.  All welcome.

Following the damage caused by vandals last week, Volunteers welcome to join a clear up team at St John’s Onthank-parish church on Monday 24th July from 11am. Please bring Garden or other heavy duty gloves. Also a packed lunch. Tea Coffee will be provided. MANY THANKS in advance for your help.

This Sundays service

The praise band will start playing at 10.35 this Sunday with Hymns and also some which will be on the screens that you can sing along with.

We will be starting the live stream about 10.40am.

General Assembly 2023

General Assembly of the Church of Scotland

The 2023 General Assembly is being held from Saturday 20 May until Thursday 25 May.  One of our elders, Olive Gow will be attending the proceedings in Edinburgh on behalf of Kay Park Parish Church and the Minister will be attending ‘online’.  Please remember Olive, Rev Fiona and everyone involved in your prayers this week.

Kay Park Parish Church, London Road Kilmarnock, KA3 7AA

Part-time Evening Caretaker/Cleaner

Salary: £4534.40 per annum (£10.90 per hour)

Contracted for 8 hours per week but with the possibility of extra when required.  45 hours holiday payment per annum plus pro rata public holiday entitlement

 Currently hours are worked over Monday, Wednesday & Thursday evenings but may change depending on hall let requirements.

Duties will include: opening & closing building for lets, ensuring Health & safety during periods of let, a rota of light cleaning duties and security of the building.

Candidates should be flexible and able to problem solve, comfortable talking to hiring groups, willing to undertake cleaning duties, complete relevant checks and be respectful of the Church of Scotland’s vision which can be found on the website http://kayparkparishchurch.org.uk/
