Kay Park Parish Church Kilmarnock (KPPC)
Church Cleaner – 4hrs per week (Paid)
Could you be the person that helps to keep our building in great shape through the year?
KPPC seeks a dedicated cleaner who can take responsibility for the cleaning of our building, with the option of also undertaking light care-taking duties that may arise from time to time.
We are looking for a person who is reliable, enthusiastic, able to complete the routine weekly tasks and be pro-active where appropriate. Working in liaison with other Church leaders you will enable our buildings to be used by Church and community groups throughout the year, helping the Church fulfil its vital role in our community.
The Church Cleaner will report to the Church Leadership Team. The Church commits to pay at or above rates set by the Living Wage Foundation, an independent body that takes the true cost of living into account. The core hours will be on a Friday morning, preferably, although some flexibility may be possible to suit the right candidate. Some additional light care-taking duties can be negotiated, depending on our building use requirements.
A full role description and further information about the role are available on request.
