INTIMATIONS

A warm welcome is extended to everyone this morning and especially to any visitors worshipping with us today.

Young Church will leave after the second hymn to enjoy their activities in the hall downstairs, whilst the crèche for under 3’s meets in the crèche room.

Tea and coffee will be available downstairs at the close of the service and we hope as many people as possible will stay and enjoy the chat.

LENT BEGINS on 26 February

Today you will have received a booklet called ‘The Sanctuary for Lent’.  Please use it daily through Lent.  Each day there is a bible verse, reflective thought and prayer.

Fellowship of Kilmarnock Churches the next service is today at 3pm in Kay Park Parish Church.  Our Pause for Hope Service will be dedicated to everyone affected by cancer.  All Welcome.

 The Strollers meet on Tuesday 25th February for a walk, meet a 9.30 in the church car park.

The Guild meet on Tuesday 25th February for a talk by David Hume – My Journey to Christ.  All Welcome.

Pastor Dragisa and his wife, Nada, are visiting Fullarton ConneXions on Wednesday 26 February to update us on the work they organise in Serbia on behalf of Blythswood Care, including the distribution of shoeboxes sent to them.  Dragisa will also be speaking about the work done among the Syrian refugees who arrive in his part of the country. Tea and coffee will be available from 10.30 for a start of the presentation at 11am.

Lunch Break meet on Thursday 27th February for soup, desert and tea/coffee all for £3.00.  All Welcome

The World Day of Prayer is on Friday, 6th March at 2pm in The Salvation Army Citadel, Sturrock Street, Kilmarnock.

Lent Café

Doors open on the following days so why not pop into the café area of the church with your neighbour, friend or family and enjoy a cuppa and a good chat.

There is no charge but a donation is welcome and all money collected will be donated to Christian Aid.  This is a really good opportunity to invite folks who would not usually come into the church building to enjoy the welcome and friendship of others.

Young Church are looking for donations of pancakes for Sunday 1st March, to decorate and sell in aid of Christians Against Poverty.  All donations welcome for this very good charity.  Please come down for coffee after church and support the young church.

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented musician interested in developing a wide-ranging church music programme.

The Organist and Director of Music we hope to attract should be a highly qualified, proficient organist and musician. We are seeking to find someone who is approachable and able to work with a wide range of people. Excellent communication skills are essential, as is a willingness to participate in church life and engage with the local community.
